Portland Skies


The changing skies and colours over Portland definately influenced the stitching on my holiday sewing project - a composition I put together from Jo Budd's class at CQ Summer school

 They also provided constant inspiration for sketches out of the bedroom window. Next time I'll take larger painting surfaces to do them justice.

These look really interesting - looking forward to seeing them finished. My Jo Budd piece has turned into a sort of mediatation - it is takings its time...

Interesting stitchwork Mags and I can see that you've taken on board Jo's comments about the use of stitch. Are you intending to add any more stitch? I haven't added any stitch to mine yet. Not enough hours in the week let alone the day!
